A survey for international students

A survey conducted by Institute of Migration has been sent in September to all international degree students studying at Åbo Akademi, University of Turku, Turku University of Applied Sciences and Novia University of Applied Sciences. The dead line for replies is the 11th of October. The aim of this survey is to find out what attracts international students to Turku, how are they integrating, and what are their plans after the graduation. Students’ opinions about their higher education institution, Turku City, and work in Turku are also heard. With the help of the results of this survey, the project hopes to improve some of the existing services on offer for international students in Turku and also to create some new ones. Follow-up surveys will be conducted during the autumn of 2016 and in the beginning of 2017 for students graduating in 2015 or in 2016. This survey will focus more on employment and the results achieved in the project.
