Interested to learn more about the Finnish way of life?
PARTICIPATE IN THE FRIENDSHIP PROGRAMME!
WHAT IS THE FRIENDSHIP PROGRAMME?
The Friendship Programme offers the international visitors (students, teachers and researchers of the below mentioned institutions) and local families a chance for mutual cultural exchange and unforgettable experiences. The student tutor helps with study related issues, but with the Friend from the local community it is possible to learn more about the Finnish culture and everyday life.
All activities within the Friendship Programme are voluntary. It is up to the international visitor and his/her Friend to decide what they want to do together and how often they meet.
WHO ARE THE FRIENDS?
The participants of the programme are ordinary Finnish persons and families living in Turku or in the neighbouring area. The Friends can be of different ages ranging from students to pensioners.
HOW TO TAKE PART?
If you are interested in participating in the programme, you’ll find the application form on the programme’s website (see address below). The deadline for applications is January 20th, 2019.
