Friendship Programme autumn 2016

Are you interested in getting to know more about the Finnish way of life?
Participate in the Friendship Programme and learn more about the Finnish way of life!

What is the Friendship Programme?

The Friendship Programme is organised by the higher education institutions in Turku. It offers international visitors of the higher education institutions in Turku (students, teachers and researchers) and the local Friends a chance for mutual cultural exchange, unforgettable experiences and improving their language skills. The student tutor helps with study related issues, but with the Friend from the local community it is possible to learn about the Finnish culture and everyday life.

All activities within the Friendship Programme are voluntary, which means that the international visitor and his/her Friend decide on their own how much and in what way they want to spend time together. Also the international visitors can suggest activities.

Who are the Finnish Friends?

The participants of the programme are ordinary Finnish people of different ages (from students to pensioners). They can have families or live by themselves.

How can I participate?
