I will not be at the office today, Thursday the 15th of September because I have to stay home with my child who got the flu.

 

I will be at Hanken today. Come by and pick up your tag and the decal for this academic year.

Unfortunately, our leader has been prevented and cannot come tonight. BUT if you want to play on your own, that’s ok. Goalkeeper equipment, vests and balls as well as 3 loan clubs are available in locker no. 40. Ask for the key at the reception and ask them to show you in where to play.

Monday, the 12 of September all students, even those who´s not a member of ÅAU Sports can come and try out the racketsport Padel, for free. From 9am-10pm at the Padel X-sportshall at Valimontie 2.

DANCEMIX COURSE for University students at dance school Kipinä
Tuesdays at 20.30-21.30 (hall 2)

An 8-time dance course is arranged from the 13th of September to the 1st of November 2022

In the lessons, we practice the basics of dance styles such as hip-hop, house and commercial through choreography. No previous dance experience is required. Come and learn new things and at the same time get to know other students in the city!

You need comfortable training clothes, indoor shoes and a drinking bottle.

The price of the course is €49 (includes 8 x 60 min. dance lessons)

ATTENTION! Members of ÅAU Sports get a €25 discount: use the code “åausports” and show at the first hour that you are a member. Then the course will only be €24 for you!

If you get sick or miss a lesson, you can make up for the absence by attending one of the open lessons in Kipinä’s timetable.

I am at the office today, Wednesday until 2:45pm. Come by and pick up your tag and sticker for this year.

Today floorball starts at the Tennis Center at 9pm. Fun and playful game. There is goalkeeper equipment for one goalkeeper (today, otherwise available for 2 goalkeepers but a little material care was required on one suit) as well as goalkeeper cloth,  that you can use to make the game a little more challenging if you choose not to have a goalkeeper.

If you want to get to know Wasa Sports Club, an information session with guided tours is offered at the gym at 15.30 and after that you can participate in BodyPump or work out in the gym from 16.15-18.

Also check out Vaasa Yliopisto’s schedule – a lot of which we at ÅAU Sports can take part in. Today, ping-pong is offered in Brändö school.
