The city of Vaasa – student campaign week
During the entire week 38, from the 19th of September to the25th of September, you can get FREE entry to the Vaasa swimminhall upon presentation of your student card. You can also visit the Tikanoja Art Centre, the Ostrobothnian Museum and the Art Gallery in the Town hall for FREE throughout the week.

Try out Padel X for free – for students at Novia
Monday, the 12 of September all students at Novia, even those who´s not a member of ÅAU Sports can come and try out the racketsport Padel, for free. From 9am-10pm at the Padel X-sportshall at Valimontie 2.
Try out kayaking on Thursday
On Thursday the 22th of September, ÅAU Sports will offer a try-on opportunity with a kayak. The occasion is arranged at Sandö and takes place in 2 groups. Group 1 starts with a short info before we head out 16.15-17.45. And the second group starts at 18-19.30.

Hiking in our world heritage – Bodvattnet around
you can still register for this – some places left!
We meet at the parking lot outside Åbo Akademi University, Rantatie 2 in Vaasa for departure by bus to Björköby at 11:30am on Sunday the 18th of September. There we hike around Bodvattnet (about 4km). During the hike, we take a break for a picknick (ÅAU Sports offers sausages), please bring your own small lunch bag and something to drink (water and something warm) On the way home, those who wish can walk across Finland’s longest bridge – the Replot bridge. We expect to be back at ÅAU at 5pm. Free event for ÅAU Sports members! Please be in time!

The floorball has no leader tonight
Unfortunately, our leader has been prevented and cannot come tonight. BUT if you want to play on your own, that’s ok. Goalkeeper equipment, vests and balls as well as 3 loan clubs are available in locker no. 40. Ask for the key at the reception and ask them to show you in where to play.
