ÅAU Sports benefits in Vaasa

As a member of ÅAU Sports, you have free access to everything included in the ÅAU Sports schedule.

As a student at Åbo Akademi University, University of Applied Sciences Novia or Hanken School of Economics in Vaasa, you are also entitled to the following additional benefits when you have purchased an ÅAU Sports membership:


Discounted Membership at Wasa Sports Club

As an ÅAU Sports member, you can purchase a discounted membership at Wasa Sports Club. Both a 1-year membership and a so-called 1–11-month membership are available, which means you can cancel the agreement at any time – you are not tied to a fixed term.

Student ÅAU Sports members:
→ 1-year membership: 49€/month
→ 1–11-month membership: 59€/month

Discounted price at Wasa Move

As a student member of ÅAU Sports, you can purchase a discounted membership at Wasa Move. The membership at Wasa Move can be cancelled at any time – there is no fixed contract period.

Student ÅAU Sports members: €37/month
When signing up, you will also need a key tag, which comes with a one-time fee of €5.

Discounted Prices at Vaasa Tennis Center

40% off the price for tennis, badminton, squash, padel, pickleball, table tennis, snooker, gym access, and the golf simulator.


Discounted Admission to Vaasa Swimming Hall

You can work out in the swimming hall’s gym, take part in water aerobics (not hydrospinning), swim, and use the sauna. You pay your share at the front desk of the swimming hall. Remember to bring your student card and the ÅAU Sports sticker.

As a Wasa Up member, you can participate for free in all courses (climbing, OCR, acroyoga, pilates).


Discount at Mindful Movements

40% off the single-entry fee for yoga classes.

At all partner locations, you are required to pay your share at the front desk. Remember to bring your ÅAU Sports sticker or registration confirmation, as you may be asked to show it.
