Legal psychology examines how psychology research results and knowledge about psychology can be applied in legal proceedings and criminal investigations. The specialization programme is a bilingual training that has been designed in collaboration with the disciplines of psychology and law and occupational representatives. Åbo Akademi University functions as the coordinating university for the programme. The disciplines in psychology and/or law at the following universities are a part of the network of collaboration: University of Helsinki, University of Lapland, University of Tampere, University of Turku and Åbo Akademi University.
