In Micro-Modular Conceptual Semantics (Nikanne 1990, 2018, Paulsen 2011, Petrova 2011), the lexicon allows mappings of fragments governed by several different modules of the language system. Such a device is central and, in principle, very strong. I will discuss the nature of the lexicon and the limitations of its strength.
