Lexical and narrative skills for Arabic-Swedish-speaking bilingual children (4 –7 years)

I study language development in bilingual children focusing on vocabulary and narrative abilities. Because input is split between two languages, exposure levels influence vocabulary proficiency, central to communication and understanding. As children mature, narrative competence becomes increasingly important for social interactions and academic success, including literacy and reading comprehension.
