Membership

Membership is open for all individuals within the Nordic countries engaged in or with an interest for work related for combustion science. At present, the membership is free of charge.

If you want to apply to become a new member, please fill in the registration form on the Combustion Institute website .

Member Benefits

Members enjoy reduced fees to many conferences supported by The Combustion Institute. 

Electronic access to articles from Combustion and Flame is changing for members of the Combustion Institute. A new Combustion Institute microsite has been built, powered by Elsevier’s ScienceDirect platform. This replaces the previous access method (via ChemWeb). The new site is customized for the Combustion Institute, and offers great advantages over the previous access method. These include:

  •  More content – full text back to 1995, plus abstracts of all articles back to 1957, plus all Articles in Press
  • More customized look and feel, easier navigation
  • More advanced search functionality
  • Ability to set up alerts, each time an issue is published, or for a user-defined search term.
