Talent Boostcamp May-June 2022
The “Talent Boostcamp” was held in Nauvo from Sunday, May 29th to Friday, June 3rd, 2022. It was particularly designed and built for international students enrolled in the master’s degree programmes in International Law and Human Rights (ILHR) and Governance of Digitalisation (GoD) at Faculty of Social Sciences, Business and Economics (FSE).
The event took place at the Gammelgård Pizza & Padel Resort (Norrstrandtintie 217, 21660, Nauvo), “https://gammelgard.fi/en/home-2/”.
The trip was packed with activities to help students advance their careers in Finland, among which:
- Workshop for business plan and research paper writing
- Workshop on how public sector entities and governments use big data
- Presentation from Ministry of Economic Affairs & Employment representative
- Presentation from Ministry of Education & Culture representative
- Two-days training and workshops on soft skills and interpersonal communication skills
- Presentation from a recruiting company (Barona)
- Presentation from Turku City and Turku Business Region
Talent Boost Seminar (December 2021)
This seminar was held at Åbo Akademi University on December 15th, 2021, and it was an open dialogue with recruiters, potential employers, and successful alumni from the FSE faculty. It was an opportunity for students to network with working life representatives.
