RAILIMAGE is a research project that aims to write the imaginative history of the long-distance railway journey and its spaces in the twentieth century. Through an interdisciplinary approach to mobility and infrastructures that draws on techniques and insights from the humanities, the project develops an urgently needed humanization of transport studies.
