Turku/Åbo (Turku is the Finnish name and Åbo is the Swedish name of the city) is situated on the southwest coast of Finland. It is the oldest city in Finland and nationally considered a university city. It is very easy to get around in the city, as the centre is fairly small. Most facilities are within walking distance from each other. There are also good local bus connections.
