Charika Swanepoel is a Doctoral student at the English Department of the University of Turku. Her research focuses on the syncretic religious enterprise of Irish poet, W.B. Yeats. Her Master’s thesis, completed at the North-West University in South Africa, compared the later works of W.B. Yeats and T.S. Eliot in the context of post-secularism. Among others, her creative and academic work has been published by Rattle, Glass Poetry, Literator, and the T.S. Eliot Society of the UK.
