Utrymmet blir ett hybriduppl\u00e4gg mellan ett undervisningslabb (med XR och andra nya tekniker) samt medialabb (studio). Utrymmet ska inredas med flexibla mo\u0308bler, som ska m\u00f6jligg\u00f6ra flexibel mediaproduktion. Den tekniska utrustningen som planeras ska vara modern, anv\u00e4ndbar och erbjuda professionell kvalit\u00e9. Undervisningslabbets del g\u00e5r till viss del &#8221;hand-i-hand&#8221; med XR-pilotprojektet.<\/p>\n<h2>Utrymmet<\/h2>\n<p>Utrymmet \u00e4r ca. 58m2 stort, och innan utrymmet tas i bruk samlar vi nu in feedback och g\u00f6r planering kring infrastruktur, ljud- och akustik. Kablar f\u00f6r kameror, mikrofoner och AV-switchar placeras i takskenor f\u00f6r att g\u00f6ra utrymmet s\u00e5 flexibelt och rent som m\u00f6jligt. Akustikplaneringen p\u00e5b\u00f6rjas 1.4 och p\u00e5g\u00e5r under april m\u00e5nad.<\/p>\n<h2>Utrustning<\/h2>\n<p>Utrustning som planeras \u00e4r olika upps\u00e4ttningar av kameror, s\u00e5 att inspelningarna kan ha multikamera inspelning. Mikrofoner kommer att best\u00e5 av tr\u00e5dl\u00f6sa lavalier mikrofoner samt bordsmikrofoner, b\u00e5de kondensator och dynamiska. Belysningen ska vara\u00a0LED-lampor med st\u00e4llbar v\u00e4rme- och vitbalans och vara\u00a0styrbar via ett enkelt gr\u00e4nssnitt. Redigeringsmilj\u00f6n kommer att best\u00e5 av b\u00e5de Windows- och Mac med tillh\u00f6rande mjukvara, t.ex. Adobe Premiere Pro eller Final Cut Pro<\/p>\n<p>XR-utrustningen som planeras \u00e4r bland annat HP Reverb G2, Oculus Quest 2, Varjo, och eventuellt Microsoft HoloLens. \u00d6vriga utrustningar som kommer att finnas \u00e4r iPhone 13 Pro och iPad Pro, fr\u00e4mst f\u00f6r deras LiDAR f\u00f6rm\u00e5ga.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h1>Plans for the studio<\/h1>\n<p>The lab will be located in the basement of the ASA-C building (formerly Campus Sport). The lab will\u00a0 have a hybrid layout with a teaching lab (with XR and other new technologies) and a media lab (recording studio). The space will be furnished with flexible furniture, which will enable more flexible media production. The technical equipment that is planned will be modern, useful and offer professional quality. The teaching lab&#8217;s part goes to some extent &#8221;hand-in-hand&#8221; with the XR pilot project.<\/p>\n<h2>Space<\/h2>\n<p>The space is approx. 58m2 large, and before the space is taken into use, we will be collecting feedback and make planning for infrastructure, sound and acoustics. The concept right now is that half the room is dedicated to the media lab and the other half to the teaching lab.<\/p>\n<h2>Sketches<\/h2>\n<p>The sketches illustrate where different types of rails will be mounted, for cables and curtains . Cables for cameras, microphones and AV-switches will be placed in the in order to make the space as flexible and clean as possible. Curtains with different colors such as gray, black and green (&#8221;green screen&#8221;) will be behind the &#8221;motif&#8221;, so users have great choice in choosing different backgrounds for the recordings.<\/p>\n<h2>Acoustic planning<\/h2>\n<p>An acoustic planner has been hired to make recommendations for sound insulation and the acoustics in the space. Acoustic planning begins on the first of April and takes place during the month of April.<\/p>\n<h2>Equipment<\/h2>\n<p>Equipment that is being planned are different sets of cameras, so that the recordings can have multi-camera recording. Microphones will also consist of wireless Lavalier microphones as well as table microphones, both condenser and dynamic. The camera and audio equipment will be connected to audio and video mixers, which will enable easy device control. The editing environment will consist of both Windows- and Mac with accompanying software, eg. Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.<\/p>\n<p>In the space, there will be three-point lighting &#8221;three-dimensional lighting&#8221; which will either be ceiling-mounted and or with a C-frame. The lighting must be LED lamps with adjustable heat and white balance and be controllable via a simple interface.<\/p>\n<p>The XR equipment planned includes HP Reverb G2, Oculus Quest 2, Varjo, and possibly Microsoft HoloLens.
