This is the blog of a fourth-year PhD student at Åbo Akademi University, who comes from Pakistan. She is working on developing nice metal oxide coatings for use in Perovskite Solar Cells (although what you may mean by “nice” here is probably entirely different than what is scientifically considered “nice” for these).
The content on this blog reflects the author’s views and experiences as a doctoral candidate, and a foreigner, in Finland. The posts will (mostly) not have factual information and/or be use to anyone actually trying to make sense of their research or data.
The primary language of blog content is English and the views of the author are, of course, subject to change as she progresses deeper into the PhD process. The posts are written with best intentions at heart, and the author apologizes beforehand if any content is found culturally inappropriate or insensitive.
Qudsia also takes feedback at squdsia@abo.fi. The first post on the blog can be read here.
