Heritage trams out and about in Brussels and Leipzig

Project PUTSPACE officially began on 1 May 2019.

On the same day, but actually in celebration of 150 years of tramways in the city, thousands of people attended a parade in Brussels, where all generations of rolling stock rode near the King’s palace. Older vehicles came from Brussels’s tram museum.

Slightly earlier, in Leipzig, an academic workshop concluding a project in which some of the members of the PUTSPACE team also participated, ended with a ride on the Leipzig tramway, on one of the oldest working trams the network still has, led by PUTSPACE PI for Germany Wladimir Sgibnev.
