About ProSpectS (2024–2027)
The research project ProSpectS aims to study leadership, teacher supervision, and learning support in language immersion programs in Finland. The main focus in the study are the experiences of child-care leaders, principals, special education teachers, childcare providers, preschool teachers, class teachers, subject teachers, as well as student teachers.
The project is funded by the Swedish Cultural Foundation in Finland.
The project group consists of researchers from Åbo Akademi University, Finland.
The project also has a steering group with specialists from universities in Canada, Ireland and Finland.
Project news
On 18 March 2025 the project arranged a kickoff webinar to officially launch the project. The project was introduced by the project group and 30 participants took part in the event.
An online survey for child-care leaders, principals, special education teachers, childcare providers, preschool teachers, class teachers, and subject teachers is open until 12 May 2025.
