His previous publications include the monographs <em>Gaelic Games on Film<\/em> (Cork University Press, 2019), <em>Sport and Film<\/em> (Routledge, 2013) and <em>\u2018The Given Note\u2019: Traditional Music and Contemporary Irish Poetry<\/em> (Cambridge Scholars Publishing, 2008); and the co-edited collections <em>Towards 2016: 1916 and Irish Literature, Culture &amp; Society<\/em>\u00a0 (Wissenschaftlicher Verlag Trier, 2015), <em>Contemporary Irish Film: New Perspectives on a National Cinema <\/em>(Braum\u00fcller, 2011), and <em>The Quiet Man \u2026 and Beyond: Reflections on a Classic Film, John Ford, and Ireland<\/em> (Liffey Press, 2009).
