CLean and efficient Utilization of demanding fuEls – CLUE
1.11.2017-31.10.2019
CLUE is an umbrella project focusing on several research topics on sustainable fuel conversion.
CLUE also includes information sharing from international conferences and seminars. As a specialty, a part of the project is to increase the knowledge of the close cooperation between the involved companies and the university to attract future students.
Research topic descriptions and contact persons:
- Characterization of biomass containing industrial by-products for thermochemical conversion
- Fate of nitrogen in biomass gasification
- Novel approaches to study corrosion mechanisms in high-temperature industrial processes
- Understanding the dynamics of intradeposit chemistry and morphology for control of corrosion in high-temperature processes
- Low temperature corrosion in combustion – old problem, new approaches
- Thermodynamic investigation of complex inorganic material systems for improved renewable energy and metals production processes
